Change in the orthodontics team at Züri Zahni

Information for our orthodontic patients – Summer/Fall 2025

Dear Patient,

After several years of dedicated collaboration, Dr. Aline Joos has left our practice. We thank her sincerely for her great commitment to our orthodontic department and wish her all the best for the future – both professionally and personally. Changes like these are never easy, especially when a close and trusting relationship has developed over time.

We are therefore all the more pleased to welcome Dr. med. dent. Stefanie Litsch, specialist in orthodontics, who has now taken over the leadership of our orthodontic department at Züri Zahni.

Dr. Litsch brings with her over 20 years of experience from her own orthodontic practices, treating children, adolescents, and adults alike. She is well-versed in all areas of modern orthodontics – from functional early treatment to skeletal treatment options for more complex cases, as well as fixed appliance techniques (buccal and lingual) and aligner therapy.

Your treatment will continue as planned and without interruption! 

You can rely on the fact that your treatment will be carried out in the familiar environment, with the same high level of care and quality you are used to. Our team of general dentists and dental assistants who know your case well will continue to be there for you – with experience, consistency, and dedication.

As a family practice, we stand for continuity, quality, and personalized care.

Even in times of change, your well-being remains our highest priority – professionally and personally.

As part of the transition, Dr. Litsch will take time to carefully review all ongoing treatment plans. In some cases, she may suggest minor adjustments or clinical refinements that could be beneficial. Should this be the case, we will, of course, discuss everything with you transparently – and prepare an updated treatment plan and/or cost estimate if needed. For the vast majority of our patients, treatment continues unchanged and exactly as planned.

Transparency

Unfortunately, our permanent teeth don’t regrow. They’re precious and we have to take great care of them. That’s why we place great importance on prevention. Daily dental care, regular professional teeth cleaning and check-ups not only prevent tooth disease but also ensure the succes of dental treatments. Should treatment be necessary, we apply only minimally invasive techniques in order to protect and preserve tooth substance.
